Twitter Owner Elon Musk Bans International Actor James Woods from X Platform

Business magnate and former owner of the X platform, previously known as Twitter, Elon Musk, has banned actor James Woods after a dispute between the two on the platform. Woods criticized "Musk" for his recent decision to remove the ban feature from the site, stating that if the decision "removes the ability to prevent coordinated harassment by trolls or organized political entities, then how will 'X' be any different from the dreadful function of Jack Dorsey's Twitter?"

He added, "Musk, whom I defended once, is only doing this to protect his advertisers anyway; X users are just means to turn the platform into an e-commerce hub. The man I thought was a defender of free expression is just another greedy capitalist, disappointing but not surprising."

Afterward, Woods shared an image revealing that he had been banned by Musk following the comments, and he commented, "It's your prerogative, sir. That's exactly my point of view. Have a good day."

This comes after Elon Musk, the owner of the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, which he acquired for $44 billion, admitted that the social network could fail, as many predicted. Musk posted on the platform, "The sad truth is that there are no great social networks right now, and we may fail as many have predicted, but we will do our utmost to create at least one network."

According to American website businessinsider, it appears that Musk's efforts to cleanse the core system from "bots" and turn it into a "super app" have not yet succeeded. Musk's post comes after he faced criticism this week due to his statement that he would remove the "ban" feature from the platform. However, activist Monica Lewinsky and CEO Linda Yaccarino urged him to "rethink" this move.
